Day 1 :

Guwahati – Shillong (2 Nights)

Tour Guests will arrive at Guwahati Airport as per their Scheduled flight. Upon arrival they will meet Veena World tour manager at the airport and proceed to Shillong – The capital of Meghalaya. En route we enjoy the view of beautiful Umiam Lake. In the evening all guests will have a short Meet & Greet session. (Dinner –  Tea/Coffee/Tetra pack juice and chips en route to Shillong, Tea/Coffee in the evening at Shillong )

Day 2 : 

Shillong

Today we visit Cathedral of Mary, Ward’s Lake, Lady Hydari Park and Don Bosco Museum. We then visit Elephant Fall. Later we visit the Police Bazar area and indulge in some street shopping and hit the pubs and cafes in Shillong on our own. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner –  Tea /Coffee during the day, Jhalmuri in the evening )

Day 3 : 

Shillong – Jowai (2 Nights)

Today we proceed to Jowai. En route we also get to see fields of paddy farming. We also visit Thadlaskein Lake – a beautiful manmade Lake in Meghalaya. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner – Tea/Coffee/Soft drink and cookies en route to Jowai )

Day 4 : 

Jowai – Krang Suri – Jowai

Today we visit one of the scenic and most beautiful waterfalls in Meghalaya – Krang Suri Waterfalls. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner – Tea/Coffee/Soft Drink at Krang Suri Waterfalls. Tea/Coffee in the evening at Jowai )

Day 5 : 

Jowai – Dawki – Mawlynnong – Cherrapunjee (2 Nights)

Today we head towards Dawki to see the crystal clear waters of Dawki river and enjoy boating on the river. Dawki lies at the border of India and Bangladesh and is famous for a suspension bridge over Umngot River (commonly known as Dawki bridge) constructed by British in 1932. We also visit India – Bangladesh border at Tamabil. We then proceed to Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village. Mawlynnong village has been awarded as the ‘Cleanest Village in Asia’. We visit the Balancing Rock and the Living Root Bridge – Centuries old bridges grown from tangled roots. Walk around the beautiful village, you’d spot thatched khasi huts along the way, bamboo dustbins all throughout the village and every house containing beautiful gardens adorned with pretty flowers. Later we proceed to Cherrapunjee.   ( Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner – Tea/Coffee en route Mawlynnong & Local fruit at Living Root Bridge, Tea/coffee in the evening. )

Day 6 : 

Cherrapunjee

Today’s journey is full of places to admire. We start with Nongriat Trek a very scenic as well as adventurous one. You’d be crossing many suspension bridges and root bridges along the forest trail. The Double Decker Root Bridge would be the highlight. Sit by the Double Decker root bridge and soak in the raw beauty of nature. If you enjoy swimming, do not forget to bring your swim-wear with you, you will need them when you find the kid inside you unable to hold back from jumping in the turquoise blue natural pools. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner – Tea/Coffee/ Tetra Pack Juice En Route Cherrapunjee. Momos at cherrapunji, Energy Bar, Tea/Coffee, and Instant Noodles while trekking. )

Day 7 : 

Cherrapunjee – Guwahati (1 Night)

Today morning we proceed to Guwahati. We visit Mawsmai caves, Seven Sisters Falls, and Nohkalikai Falls – the tallest plunge waterfall in India. We also visit Ram Krishna Mission. Upon arrival at Guwahati we check in to our hotels and relax. (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner – Tea/coffee en route Guwahati )

Day 8 : 

Guwahati – Departure to hometown

Today we visit the Kamakhya Temple – one of the 51 Shakti Peethas in the country.
It’s time now to say goodbye to our travel companions. Let’s stay in touch with each other through email, phone, WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram and meet again on yet another memorable tour. See you all!! Tour Guests will proceed to Guwahati airport as per their schedule flight and start their return journey back home.  (Breakfast )

Given the current dynamic situation some monuments or sightseeing places may be closed temporarily without any prior notice; in such cases every attempt will be made to visit an alternate sightseeing if possible.
Now coach travel is permitted for tourism, so we will use a coach for transfers and sightseeing. Guests who wish to travel by a small vehicle may do so by paying an additional cost.

We request all guests to abide by the mandatory requirements for travel to the destination, such as RT-PCR tests, web check-in, self-declaration, e-pass formalities etc. as per the state/country, which are subject to change periodically. Any cost incurred for such requirements should be borne by the guests.

  • Government of India Goods & Services Tax (GST) of 5%
  • Any increase in airfare, airport tax, fuel surcharge etc.
  • Any new tax/es levied by the central or state government
  • Cost of Insurance
  • Any upgradation in airline class, vehicle, hotel or hotel room category
  • Cost of Pre/Post tour hotel accommodation
  • Any extra expense incurred due to any forced majeure situation before the tour departure or during the tour, such as change in airline schedule, route or operation, changing the tour date, change in hotel etc.
  • Personal expense like porterage, laundry, telephone, shopping, alcoholic beverages, extra mineral water or food which is not a part of group’s set meal menu
  • Any extra cost incurred due to illness, accident, hospitalization or any personal emergency
  • Cost of any optional activity or service
  • Anything specifically not mentioned in the ‘tour price includes’ column
