Day 1 :

Delhi to Bir. (550 km/10-12 hr)

Volvo bus from Delhi to Bir

Arrive Majnu ka tilla, Potala ground flyover. Board volvo bus at 1930 hrs to Bir. Overnight journey in volvo bus.

Day 2 :

Arrive Bir, paragliding session

Reach Bir in the morning arrival assistance along with  transfer to pre booked hotel/guest house/camp. Relax till lunch. Post lunch drive to Paragliding site for paragliding. Enjoy the high fly from Billing on direct payment basis and evening at leisure. O./N Hotel/Guest house/Camp.

Day 3 :

Bir- Pong

After breakfast  sightseeing of Chokling Monastery, Sherab Ling Monastery, Baijnath  Temple  and Palampur  and drive to Pong/Maharana Pratap Sagar  .O/N  Hotel  Pong Village

Sherab Ling Monastery

Situated in the foothills of Kangra  Valley is Palpung Sherabling Monastic Seat in Upper Bhattu region. A quiet walk through the pine forest with colourful Buddhist prayer flags on the sides of the road takes you to the gompa. The monastery has shrine halls, a monastic college, a school, a library, a museum, an exhibition hall and a dispensary, and all these are nestled deep inside the pine forest. It’s like a different world altogether in the middle of serene nature where cheerful kids, youth and old seem to be celebrating life.

Chokling Monastery

Located in the middle of the Tibetan Colony, Chokling Monastery is one of the most popular Tibetan monasteries in Bir. This magnificent monastery is painted in white and is adorned with other bright colours; making it look stunning. It has a statue of Padmasambhava and a stupa.

The monastery offers unobstructed views of the surrounding mountains and as the monastery is situated just 1 km away from Bir Landing Site, one can also enjoy the beautiful sight of paragliders gliding through the skies.

Baijnath  Temple

Baijnath Temple is a Nagara style Hindu temple situated in a small town of Baijnath located in Kangra District, Himachal Pradesh, India, and was built in 8th Century by two local merchants named Ahuka and Manyuka. It is dedicated to Lord Shiva as Vaidyanath.

Palampur

Palampur is known for its tea gardens like the Palampur Cooperative Tea Factory, which also processes the leaves. A waterfall drops into a stream at Bundla Chasm. Saurabh Van Vihar nature park has picnic spots, birdlife and views of the snow-capped Dhauladhar range. A forested trail leads northeast to hilltop Birni Devi Temple, with mountain views.

 Day 4 :

Pong/ Maharana Pratap Sagar  – Delhi

Get up early morning to catch a glimpse of the sunrise at the dam shores.Take a short walk through the forest to reach the beach side and catch the mesmerising sunrise and would do birdwatching.After returning we will have our breakfast and leave for a boating tour in which we will see the drowned bathu temples,ranser island.Post lunch check out and transfer to catch the Volvo back to  Delhi

Maharana Pratap Sagar in India, also known as Pong Reservoir or Pong Dam Lake was created in 1975, by building the highest earthfill dam in India on the Beas River in the wetland zone of the Siwalik Hills of the Dehra Gopipur Division Kangra district of the state of Himachal Pradesh.
